Description

Baphomet pendant

There is a thesis that the Templars in Palestine would have found the remains of the beheaded skull of St. John the Baptist. The name Baphomet could be a derivation from Baphi-Meta, ancient Greek for “Baptism” and “Knowledge”. But it could also be an abbreviation obtained from the first letters read in reverse of the sentence: “Templum omnium komnium pacis abbas”: “TemO-HP-AB” (symbol of the Templar Order).

Symbols: Embodiment of the duality of being.

Meanings as a talisman or amulet: Symbolizes the perfection of nature: everything is contained in everything.
