Uses of a cauldron
Cauldrons are a decorative addition to your home. It is a popular item among people interested in witchcraft and magic, wicca. These are often placed on an altar or placed as a decoration in the home. The cauldrons are suitable for burning incense, sage or potions. The lid must remain open during combustion. Otherwise the oxygen will no longer enter. When it burns, the escaping smoke creates a magical effect, reminiscent of a witch’s cauldron.
Pentacle meaning
The pentagram, or pentacle, is one of the oldest symbols and has many different meanings. This varies by culture. The name comes from the Greek and means five lines. Within the wicca the five-pointed star represents faith, but also the five elements: mind, water, fire, earth and air. It can also represent the five senses: hearing, seeing, smelling, hearing and tasting.
The pentacle is often confused with Satanism. This is easily recognized by the direction the point is pointing to. If it points upward it would refer to heaven. And when it points down, it indicates the underworld.
